FAQ
What camera/s do you use?
I have a few cameras, I have my DSLR, which is a Nikkon D3200 usually with my 50mm/1.8G Prime Lens, or sometimes with my 18-55mm kit lens. This is what I use for my professional photoshoots.
I also own a Minolta Dynax 300si, an automatic film camera. I took this to Download Festival this year as I didnt want to risk taking my DSLR, as I only spent £15 on this camera. Despite the price, the images come out perfectly, with a lovely vintage aura.
I own but not often use a Olympus OM-10, which is my vintage baby.
I have also taken some pretty nifty shots just using my iPhone 5, the cameras on iPhones are seriously improving. Not to the extent where I can conduct a whole photoshoot using just Instagram, but enough that if I'm found cameraless in a situation where I need to photograph it, my iPhone will do.
I also own the Polaroid Instax 8 in white. Its lovely.
What editing software do you use?
I use both Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
What do you charge for photoshoots?
This question I cant really answer. It depends on the person/s, where the photoshoot takes place, how much editing the photoshoot will take afterwards, how long the photoshoot will be etc. For regular portrait photos I can charge between £30 - £50 an hour, depending on the expenses on my end for travel etc. Weddings come as a package, which is negotiated with every client.
